Forensic Sciene in CSI πŸ˜±

On Monday we had a forensic scientist visit P7. The theme of the workshop was ‘Decisions’.

First we learnt about all the people, places, actions and evidence types involved in CSI.

Something was stolen from our class and we had to create an eyewitness report to try and describe the suspect! This tested our observation and listening skills. We also discussed the implications in the justice system if the eye witness account was wrong! πŸ‘

We then had to analyse and compare fingerprint samples to narrow down the suspects further.

Once we had figured out the suspect we got to take our own fingerprints and footprints πŸ–πŸΌ πŸ‘ž

We learnt that there are 3 types of fingerprints, loop, whirl and arch.
